I couldn't take my "eye" off this piece (hahaha I'm corny I know). But in all seriousness, you did a fantastic job. did you use watercolour paint, it looks like it with the softness of the colours and how nicely they blend and layer each other. I personally like the variations of blue in the eye, it gives it value and makes it appear more rounder. You did an amazing job with the little details, such as marking EVERY SINGLE EYE LASH!!! Ah, that would have drove me crazy, but because you did that, it makes it look very realistic. I love the different textures I'm getting, from the wrinkle of the eyelid, the lashes to the glossy eyeball itself (even that small pinky part in the corner of the eye is very realistic) Overall composition: Great job
I have a thing for eyes, so i like this one aswell
It's made quite rough, which is nice in the face part but i thnik the blue of the eye could have been a bit more clean. Of course an eye has variation of colors etc, but they are quite harsh and clean at the same time. Maybe a macro shot will help you with that, if you'd like to achieve realism more
For touch ups i'd suggest using some quite strong white in the eyelashes since the lashes tend to reflect a bit of light because it's reflective a bit.
Means a lot to hear so many compliments from you Tobi! Yes im working on it, and i already have many unfinished works!
Sometimes i get so pissed when i don't achieve what i intended to but in the end i know i just need to practice a lot! I feel like i really need to do traditional, it clears up my head!
Time will show.... it's all about time and practise. I like to hear that you're enjoying traditional stuff so much these days. I'm very curious!
And yeah, i'm back again. Finally moved into my new apertment. I haven't had Internet/Phone for the last weeks, because the Phone-Company fucked it up. But now i'm back!

Still it's a nice piece, keep up the painting!
