First, let me talk about how beautiful this image is. I love the light, the detail of the broken mirror and the cracks in the wall, the posture--it's strongly emotional; expressive. There has been many photos with "cracked" reflections to echo a concept, but this is so different--the mirror's edges are broken and the surroundings look broken as well. This was a good prop and good environment to work with--and good vision to bring your own concept to life. I wish though that the concept/title was a little clearer or matched the conceptualization a little more.

I also think the technique could be better. I feel the image itself should've been darker. The mood of the image is dark in and of itself and the concept from what I can understand is reflective, inward, introspective, which warrants a kind of moodiness. The literal lightness of the image creates a contradicting feeling. I realize that with a darker image you would've had underexposure, but the overexposure is more detrimental (in my opinion.) If you could even out the lighting a little--even though you would have to sacrifice some of the contrast--I think it would be a better shot. While I like the starkness of the light, moving the mirror to a more softly lit area might prove better also.
